What is Infinite SCALE?
Infinite SCALE is ownCloud’s next generation open-source content collaboration and file sync and share platform designed for global organization with very large datasets focused on data control, flexibility and security. Infinite SCALE is 100% compatible with ownCloud 10, shares its core features andis built on a modern micro-service-based architecture and new vue.js web interface which adds both speed (~11 times), scalability, and extended functionality. Infinite SCALE adds usability improvements in link and file sharing and allows working in Spaces, a completely new collaboration concept for productivity and person-independent file working. TrueNAS SCALE was selected as the primary underlying storage OS because like ownCloud and Infinite SCALE, IXSystem’s is a leader in storage industry, strongly supports the open-source community, and recently released TrueNAS SCALE using an updated next-gen architecture with Docker and Kubernetes support.
