Next-Generation FirewallNext-Generation Firewall (NGFW)
Stop Unknown Threats
Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) offers the best protection against the most up to date advanced threats including ransomware, bots, worms, breaches, crypto mining, hacks and APT’s.
Our NGFW connects and protects people and the data they use throughout the enterprise network – all with the greatest efficiency, availability and security.
Address critical issues efficiently and economically with a solution that is seamlessly and centrally managed, whether physical, virtual or in the cloud.
NGFW’s are loaded with a multitude of features and functionality that allows them to inspect traffic at a much more granular level. Features of NGFW include intrusion prevention systems, deep packet inspection, and SSL inspection.
A NGFW integrates all of these capabilities into a single system. NGFW’s provide a single vendor, architecture and management interface for more flexibility in providing differing levels of protection, common reporting and typically a cost reduction by negating the need to purchase separate security appliances and services.
Converting to a NGFW can realize substantial savings, not just in money, but also in time and effort in support and management over time. And because they are integrated, NGFW’s tend to be more effective because security services provided have been designed, tested and vetted to work together.
To learn how Techgardens can help you implement a NGFW solution into your network, please contact us at 646-783-4550 or sales@techgardens.com – or complete the form and we’ll be in touch as soon as possible.

Web Content FilteringWeb Content Filtering
Collect & Analyze Web Incidents
Web content filtering software blocks web threats to reduce malware infections, decrease help desk incidents and provides relief to valuable IT resources. Our easy-to-deploy, transparent filter and security solution avoids the complexity of a proxy gateway. It is equipped with more than 120 security and web filtering categories, hundreds of web application and protocol controls, and 60-plus reports with customization and role-based access.
Most businesses allow employees unlimited access online and 30-40% of Internet use at work is not business related. This can introduce an array of technological issues for a company, especially as companies are at risk for vicious malware and phishing attacks.
Incorporating an effective web content filtering services boosts network security by blocking entry to suspicious websites rather than just intercepting certain domain names. Web content filtering can classify and assess web traffic to precisely identify threats within a web page that shouldn’t be permitted into the internal network. Filtering also prevents liabilities caused by accidental or deliberate access to malicious content.
Web content filtering considerably lowers, if not entirely, removes the possibility of such liabilities. Another benefit is web content filtering’s ability to limit employee’s use of social media, online shopping or entertainment sites during work hours. Also, by establishing rigid protocols on email use, you can better manage replies to unverified contacts, downloading of questionable files and the opening of suspicious emails.

SIEMSIEM
Unified Security Simplified
Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) is an approach to security management that combines security information management and security event management functions into one security management system. The idea behind SIEM is to aggregate relevant data from multiple sources, identify deviations from the norm, and take appropriate action. SIEM systems can be rules-based or employ a statistical correlation engine to establish relationships between event log entries. Our SIEM software fuels early threat detection so you can focus on fast response and allows you to start detecting threats on day one and drive operational efficiency with a unified security platform.
SIEM should be deployed to provide centralized security visibility into all your environments. Major drivers behind why companies deploy SIEM technologies include, compliance obligations, gaining and maintaining certifications, log management and retention, continuous monitoring and incident response, case management or ticketing systems, and policy enforcement validation and policy violations. The primary driving factor to deploy SIEM is compliance but many companies also implement SIEM in an effort to not only protect sensitive data but also to demonstrate proof that they are doing so, also while meeting compliance requirements. Another benefit of SIEM is not only can it help your business comply with regulations and detect cybersecurity incidents, it can also efficiently help mange incidents that may occur, saving your security professionals time and resources because it can speed incident containment and reduce the extent of damage that many incidents cause.

Multi-Factor AuthenticationMulti-Factor Authentication
An Extra Layer of Security
Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) helps protect you by adding an additional layer of security, making harder for hackers to log in as if they were you.
MFA in organizations serves as a vital function within an organization because it secures access to corporate networks, protects the identities of users, and ensures that a user is who he claims to be. The more factors used to determine a person’s identity, the greater the trust of authenticity. Because MFA security requires multiple means of identification at login, it is widely recognized as the most secure method of authenticating access to data and applications.
When selecting MFA protection, there are several reasons to deploy a solution within your organization. First is to protect your network from unauthorized access. Secondly if users need to connect to the network from remote locations, MFA will enable employees to secure their laptops and data while on the road. Finally, if you are interested in firmly protecting data that is on user’s PC’s and laptops, MFA solutions can require the use of a token to boot the computer or decrypt protected data. By enabling integration with physical access systems, you can implement a secure physical access solution.

Intrusion Prevention & DetectionIntrusion Prevention & Detection
Detect & Prevent Cyber Attacks
Intrusion prevention and detection are two broad terms used to describe application security practices used to mitigate cyber attacks and block new threats. Intrusion detection identifies and mitigates ongoing attacks using an intrusion detection system that uses known intrusion signatures to detect and analyze both inbound and outbound network traffic for abnormal activities. Intrusion prevention is used to preemptively block application attacks. An IPS complements an IDS configuration by proactively inspecting a system’s incoming traffic to find and prevent malicious requests.
Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) solutions must be properly provisioned, updated and patched to protect against threats. Policies, signatures and rules need to be updated and maintained to ensure accessibility, provide security and to comply with regulations.
IPS and IDS systems are closely related and tightly integrated. They should be deployed together to not only identify threats, but to effectively deal with those threats in real time as they occur. Our IPS/IDS systems identify and respond to threats faster, when a real threat is identified. Our IPS performs real-time packet inspection and if malicious or suspicious packets are detected the IPS will carry out one of the following:
Terminate the TCP session that has been exploited and block the offending source IP address or user account from accessing any application, target hosts or other network resources unethically. Reprogram or reconfigure the firewall to prevent a similar attack occurring in the future. Remove or replace any malicious content that remains on the network following an attack. This is done by repackaging payloads, removing header information and removing any infected attachments from file or email servers.

Network Access ControlNetwork Access Control
Control Access to the Network
Network Access Control describes a security policy in which specific devices receive differing levels of network access based on a set of conditions. Today’s NAC solutions have the ability to identify unique endpoints, collect large amounts of data from a wide variety of sources and use it to make highly informed decision on how to best implement controls.
Network Access Control protection should be deployed for the following reasons. First, because securely handling mobile devices is a key concern for IT professionals tasked with providing secure network access with minimal disruption to end users. Secondly, because one of the major advantages is NAC’s ability to deliver network access on a granular basis. Finally, NAC can stop the source of threats from connecting to the network and integrate with detection products to isolate affected systems before attackers can further access the network.
NAC can dramatically improve an organization’s security posture. By allowing greater control over what devices are accessing the network, it can greatly reduce the risk of an intentional or accidental data breach.
